A heartfelt thank you to our PTO and all the volunteers who helped with classroom parties and hosted trick-or-treat tables. Our fun-filled days wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of our Heritage community!

Last Friday night, members of our Badger Singers proudly performed the National Anthem at the Lancer Game. We had a fantastic turnout representing Heritage! A special thank you to Mrs. Vander Laan for coordinating this wonderful opportunity.

Students are now preparing for our upcoming Veterans Day Program, where we will honor veterans within our community. On Tuesday, November 11th, we are honored to welcome veterans and their families to a special program at 9:30 a.m. in the school gym. Heritage families are invited to join us or can also watch the livestream, linked in the newsletter below.

Congratulations to our October Student of the Month winners! Heritage is so proud of all of you, keep up the good work!

Congratulations to Harlow for being this week's Heritage Hero! Harlow was caught being KIND by looking after a friend. Congratulations to you, Heritage is so proud!

Mr. Mahoney, one of our 4th Grade Teacher, is known for creating a classroom environment where every student can thrive. His nominations describe him as patient, kind, and consistent; someone who goes the extra mile to meet the needs of all learners. He is celebrated for his humor, creativity, and ability to make learning engaging and meaningful. Colleagues shared that he’s a true team player, always supporting others with positivity, reassurance, and care. His collaboration with the Special Education department and his dedication to student success make a lasting impact on both students and staff.

If you plan to come visit during lunchtime, please let the office know by 9:00am if you are going to purchase a school lunch so we can prepare enough food. Lunches are $4.90 for adults, and no change can be given.

You are more than welcome to bring food from home, but please NO fast food. If you are bringing a peanut or tree nut item in your lunch, please do NOT sit at our peanut free table in the cafeteria. Thank you!

Halloween Thank You! We wanted to thank everyone who helped make our Trunk or Treat and Halloween Parties a success this year - Trunk or Treat volunteers, room parents, parade supporters and those who donated. We know you are all taking extra time out to help us make these events happen and we couldn’t do this without you! Ditch the Dishes - Thank you to everyone who came out to Texas Roadhouse for our October Ditch the Dishes event! You helped us raise some great funds for Heritage. Mark your calendars for our November event on Tuesday, November 18th at Culver’s, where 15% of sales will be donated back to Heritage. 

Adopt the Lounge: Let’s STOCK THE LOUNGE for our Heritage Staff! 3rd Grade it’s your turn in the month of November! Please see the schedule below for the week your class is asked to bring a donation for the lounge:

1) The PTO created an Amazon Wishlist for easy purchase options which will be sent directly to the PTO. Just click and pay!

2) A SignUp Genius has been created if you prefer to shop while out and about. Click on the link HERE to purchase specific items for the lounge and then contact heritageptooutreach@gmail.com to coordinate a donation drop off. Thank you for helping to support our amazing Heritage staff!

Get in your October Reading Hours! Make sure to get your student’s hours in for the October Reading Incentive Cart by entering their minutes in our Reading Log by the last day of each month. Students earn prizes for grade specific minutes of reading achieved! 

We also need volunteers to push our Reading Incentive Prize Cart and distribute prizes to all the kids who have earned their reading prizes. Check out our Signup Genius HERE to volunteer. 

Upload Your Yearbook Photos! Please continue to share your photos with our Yearbook committee by uploading them to our Yearbook site HERE. We have folders for each class and please add some notes to help us identify the students and what the activity is. Group photos are encouraged!

Crumbl Birthday Volunteers Needed: We are in need of volunteers to help distribute birthday cards and Crumbl cookies once a month. Sign up on our Signup Genius by clicking HERE.

SHOWCASE YOUR BENNINGTON PRIDE and Support BHS Post Prom! This year we have a new sign that is perfect for every Badger home! Of course, we still have personalized signs to SHOWCASE YOUR FAVORITE ATHLETE, ACTIVITY OR CLUB MEMBER WITH A PERSONALIZED YARD SIGN! Signs range from $22 to $26.
