Dear Heritage Families,
We continued with MAP testing this week and are proud of the effort our students are showing. We have been encouraging all students to focus on working hard, taking their time, and simply doing their best. To help celebrate that effort, our PTO is sponsoring a fun celebration for students who demonstrate these qualities during testing. We want our students to know that giving their best effort is what truly matters.
Looking ahead to next week, we will have an early dismissal on Wednesday, May 6th at 11:40 a.m. Students will participate in Badger Time in the morning, followed by our final Student of the Month celebration for this school year.
We also have several exciting field trips planned: 5th grade and Kindergarten will be visiting the zoo, and 2nd grade will be heading to Arbor Day Farm.
Thank you for your continued support!
ONE TEAM, SAME COMMITMENT
Take care,
Ms. Woodrich
Heritage Principal

This week's Heritage Heroes are Brooks, Eli, and Hudson! They were caught being RESPONSIBLE and KIND by helping a friend clean out a locker without being asked. Heritage is so proud of all of you, keep up the great work! |
We are very grateful to everyone who was able to join us for our first Pancakes and Partnerships event this past weekend. We had a wonderful turnout, and it was great to see so many Heritage families come together to eat, play, and enjoy time as a community.
We were also fortunate to have several fantastic partners join us, including our PTO, the Bennington Library, All Stars, and Heritage staff who shared information about building strong attendance habits.
Our goal is to continue fostering a Heritage community that supports one another and goes the extra mile for our students. This includes helping ensure our students are consistently at school and ready to learn. We are already looking ahead to our next Pancakes and Partnerships event, which will take place this fall on September 26th—please mark your calendars.

We’ve experienced multiple near-misses with vehicles that could have led to accidents. Please pay close attention to the stop signs around the school and when exiting the school driveway, as this is a serious safety concern.
We have also had several reports of motorized scooters coming out of the school drive into oncoming traffic. Please talk with your students about scooter safety so we can avoid injuries and accidents. Thank you with your cooperation with this!
